Ticket sales cover less than 40% of the FSO’s budget and your support covers the rest! Your support keeps our music playing and to ensure our diverse program offerings continue serving thousands of people of all ages in Fairfax County and the broader region. 

Your donation helps to: 

  • Bring world-renowned soloists to our stage including, violinist Itzhak Perlman, cellist Yo-Yo Ma, soprano Renée Fleming, pianist Jeremy Denk, guitarist Berta Rojas, and many more.

  • Present innovative, new works, including the recent premieres by Jonathan Leshnoff, Adam Hochstatter, Malek Jandali, and Peter Boyer. 

  • Offer exciting collaborations with contemporary artists at Capital One Hall including the Indigo Girls, Gregory Alan Isakov, and Celtic Woman.

  • Engage thousands of students and teachers in Fairfax County through our Link Up education program in partnership with Carnegie Hall to provide a unique learning and “performance” opportunities for Title 1 elementary schools across our region

  • Advance the careers of of talented university-level, student musicians from backgrounds not currently represented in orchestras today through the FSO Fellowship program.
